Animal Sounds App for tots!

Animal Sounds app for kids, toddlers, and babies!

Although I only allow limited screen time in our home, I am so Thankful for finding Tinyugames.com and their wonderful App.

Because, let’s be real, those are those moments where you need to distract the kids for just a few minutes so you can pay a bill, throw in a load of laundry, or have three minutes to use the restroom in peace.

Today, for example, the twins were fighting, and we were just waiting for Chopper (our dog) to finish eating so we could leave and run some errands.

I decided toTeacher and parent approved app for babies, toddlers, and young learners. pull out the Tinyu game’s Animals: Sound & Games application to go along with our sound and music learning unit this week.

I selected between barn and zoo sounds and Animal sound App- Mom and teacher tell why it this is the best application for your baby, toddler, or young learner www.teachingtotwins.comlet the twins begin to play. It is easy enough that even them being a day shy of one began to recognize what buttons would bring up a new animal and that tapping the screen would produce the animals sound. At first, they were surprised to hear the lion roar. After about a minute they had the full hang of it. They began giggling and tapping around.

The best part is the way this application is set up, I didn’t have to worry about them taking turns or fighting over it. Any time a tap happened, so did any animal sound, then immediately followed by giggles.

I highly recommend parents with babies and toddlers to visit your application store and download this application. Here’s why:

  • It’s currently FREE.
  • It features low level of background noise. It is developed by mom’s for mom’s so they made sure to make it so it would not be irritating. Some other apps out there don’t think about this.
  • It has very little flashing or screen lighting. Some applications try to entertain babies or toddlers with lots of activity and flashing on the screen. NOT THIS ONE! which is good, because your baby or toddler doesn’t need that type of stimuli, the sounds are enough.
  • The sounds are made by people. We have a puzzle that does real animal sounds which is great for Walt and Ellie to have both of these in their life. The puzzle helps them know what it really sounds like, and the application helps their language develop as they imitate sounds.
  • It has mini games to test their knowledge and understanding. This is great for older toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten children!
  • They love it!

With love,

Oh cool, Will have to show my friend this. My toddler days are over. Keep up the limited screen time even as they get older. The temptation to let them have more got to me and I now regret it. Its easier to never give in the first place then have to take away :/
